About Dr. Jolly

Dr. Neil Jolly’s core philosophy when providing care is that “every patient will be treated just as I would my own family member.” After 13 years training alongside experts in anesthesiology and interventional pain medicine at Yale, Wake Forest, and the University of Texas, he eagerly returned to his hometown New Orleans in 2016. Double-Board Certified in anesthesiology and pain medicine, Dr. Jolly serves as the CEO and President of Louisiana Pain Specialists, the largest group of interventional pain clinics in Louisiana with nearly 40,000 encounters annually. Their focus is on evidence-based, minimally-invasive interventions along with opioid-reducing topicals and pharmaceuticals. Dr. Jolly has lectured several times nationally on chronic pain and has collaborated with agencies such as the DEA and Attorney General’s office during the opioid epidemic, and he has consulted for several fortune 500 companies - particularly in the field of neuromodulation.

After becoming a partner at Crescent View Surgery Center in 2016, Dr. Jolly led the Center’s growth initiatives, expanding service lines and physician recruitment. At the forefront of the surgery center’s turnaround, he was responsible for exponential growth leading to a majority stake sale of the Center to publicly-traded Surgery Partners (Nashville, TN) in 2018. In addition to leading the Center as Medical Director for the past 7 years, Dr. Jolly is the Director of Pain Management and past Vice Chair of Surgery at LCMC’s New Orleans East Hospital. Dr. Jolly uses these early-career experiences to mentor young physicians joining private practice and offers advice to healthcare startups and practices in the local community.

Most recently, Dr. Jolly was recognized for his Long Covid treatment protocols for reversing patients’ symptoms of loss in taste and smell, as well as treatments for severe anxiety and PTSD utilizing a specialized procedure called the stellate ganglion block. He is one of only a handful of physicians elected to Stella, a national organization offering potentially life-altering treatments for these conditions that are otherwise not covered by traditional insurance plans.

Dr. Jolly remains a strong advocate for fostering business development in New Orleans, and was recently nominated to NextGen Counsel. As firm believers in the “pay it forward” mentality, he and his wife, Rena, are very active in numerous charitable organizations in the community. Dr. Jolly’s continued commitment to his hometown, though, is only possible through the unwavering support of his incredibly talented wife and two beautiful young daughters, Maya and Sona.
