Dr. Crosby believes pain affects us in so many ways: chronic suffering, withdrawing from society, and even withdrawing from family. Patients can feel very isolated. It is his desire to help them reach a point where being around others is a joy and not something to avoid. Dr. Crosby grew up in this area and has family deeply rooted in Cajun heritage. He has a sincere love for the culture and the people of South Louisiana.
He completed his interventional pain fellowship at Texas Tech University under Dr. Miles Day, an international lecturer and instructor, and Dr. Gabor Racz, a world-renowned pioneer in the field of interventional pain and charter member of both the World Institute of Pain and the National Pain Foundation.
Dr. Crosby offers multiple methods of controlling pain that include ultrasound-guided and fluoroscopically guided procedures, peripheral nerve ablation and the latest in spinal cord neuromodulation/surgical techniques.
