Dr. Suneil "Neil" Jolly Named Cure By Design Gala "Cure Champion of the Year"

Louisiana Pain Specialists is excited to recognize Dr. Neil Jolly for being named this year's New Orleans Pelicans Cure by Design Gala "Cure Champion of the Year!" Dr. Jolly successfully raised over $40,000 during his fundraising campaign, more than any other Cure Champion, and together with the efforts of 19 other Cure Champion Honorees, over $542,000 was raised to benefit the American Cancer Society. Funds raised by Cure by Design will be used to ensure that the unique needs of each cancer patient in Louisiana are met by delivering life-saving programs, services, and advanced research. Dr. Erik Sterne and Dr. Erik Davis were also in attendance to support the ACS.

The New Orleans Pelicans Cure by Design Gala presented by Ochsner MD Anderson Cancer Center took place on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at the Sugar Mill. The evening featured a presentation of 20 distinguished Cure Champion Honorees, signature dishes and cocktails from New Orleans most popular establishments, live entertainment, a silent auction and more! This year, David Griffin, Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations of the New Orleans Pelicans was honored with the Heart and Soul Award.

Dr. Jolly's efforts will be carried on to next year and he and his wife Rena, Director of Operations at Louisiana Pain Specialists, were announced as co-chairs of next year's Cure By Design Gala! Stay tuned for updates throughout the year for fundraising and event information!
